Miss Blackpool 2014 Competition - Heat 2 Result

Further heats for the 2014 Miss Blackpool competition will be held at G Casino on Blackpool Promenade on the following dates:

Heat 3 - Thursday 3rd July
Heat 4 - Thursday 10th July

Heat 5 - Thursday 17th July
Heat 6 - Thursday 24th July
Heat 7 - Thursday 31st July

The Final will take place on the Friday 15th August at the Blackpool Hilton Hotel which will include a 3-course meal and coffee (black tie event). Tickets are available through Angels Elite Models & Promotions Agency

Girls aged 18 to 30 are welcome to enter whether they have been married or not and whether or not they have children. There is no cost to enter and you can just come along and join in on the night.

 Most importantly: you DO NOT have to live in or come from Blackpool to be eligible to enter so the competition is especially attractive to visitors and holiday makers as a fun way to spend an evening out. Friends and family are encouraged to come along and support the heats and the final.

The 1st and 2nd placed in each heat qualify for the Grand Final on 15th August. There will also be a photographic completion held in conjunction with Radio Wave - details to follow later!

Special Edition Of Best Kept Secrets Show On 103.2 Preston FM This Saturday

This Saturday's show is very special as it is 5 years to the day (more or less) that we presented our first live show on 103.2 Preston FM.

Blackpool Roller Derby League is very excited to announce that its newly formed, all female team the Blackpool Roller Coasters will be playing their first public game against The Vagine Regime UK B Team. This will take place on the Sunday of the weekend of the Pride celebrations in Blackpool.

This game will see them  battle it out on the track against the Vagine Regime UK who describe themselves as “ a collective of queer derby folks from around the world. “ Today’s VRUK roster is made up from skaters from all over the country and we are excited to have them all in Blackpool to celebrate Pride weekend.

Tickets are £5 if bought in advance or £6 on the door.
